St. Thomas-St. John
Antilles School: Antilles School will present Neil Simon's 45 Seconds from Broadway at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 24 and 25 and 4 p.m. Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for everyone and can be purchased at the door. For more information call 776-1600 ext. 222.
Auditions for Berlin To Broadway: Auditions will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 18 and 19 at Pistarckle Theater in Tillett Gardens. Up to 10 singers are needed including sopranos, mezo-sopranos, tenors, altos and bass/baritones and one non-singing narrator role. Ages teen to adult are welcome. Singers need to move well, but minimal dancing is required. Singers should come with a prepared song. An accompanist will be available. Call the Theater at 775-7877 with questions.
Angelique Kidjo Returns: World music sensation Angelique Kidjo returns to the Reichhold Center for the Arts at 8 p.m. Feb. 25. Ticket outlets are Urban Threadz, VI Bridal and Tuxedo, Home Again, Essentric Shoe Boutique and UVI Bookstore.
Lions Club: The Charlotte Amalie St. Thomas Lions Club will have a general meeting starting at 6 p.m. Feb. 19 at Victor's New Hideout.
Leo Club: The Charlotte Amalie St. Thomas Leo Club will have a general meeting at 3 p.m. Feb. 19 at Massac's Nursing School on Back Street.
The 37th Annual Debutante Ball: Eta Phi Beta Sorority will host their 37th annual Debutante Ball at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 at Sugar Bay Resort. Formal attire is required. Walk-a-thon: The Perfect Ashlar Lodge, No. 766 PHA, St. John will be holding a Black history walk-a-thon at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 25 starting at V.I. National Park in Cruz Bay. Proceeds will benefit Julius Sprauve Elementary Special Education class.
Sign Language Classes: The Virgin Islands University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities will be offering a 10-week American Sign Language Class starting on Feb. 27. Classes will be held in St. Thomas on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the university. The fee is $100. For information or to register, call 693-1173 in St. Thomas.
Troupe Leaders Meeting: A meeting for all Carnival troupe leaders will be held at 5:30 p.m. March 1 at the Virgin Islands Carnival Committee office on lower Main Street across from the Department of Finance.
