The V.I. Police Department offers these tips to cut down on drunken driving:
- Plan a safe way home before the fun begins.
- Don't drink more than your limit.
- Designate a sober driver.
- Call a taxi or a friend or use public transportation.
- Report drunken drivers who are on the road.
- Take the keys from a drunk attempting to drive.
