The V.I. Water and Power Authority has scheduled a power outage from 6 to 11 a.m. Sunday for areas around Main and Back streets on St. Thomas so crews can relocate a power pole and conductors.
Other streets that will be affected include Gasverts, Gamle, Regjerings, Nordsidevej, Kronprindsens and Prindsens gades.
Technicians will isolate sections of Feeders 9 and 10A at various times throughout the morning to accommodate the work and do not anticipate most areas being out for more than a total of one hour, according to a statement WAPA issued Friday. However, residents located near the location of work on Gasverts Gade, the lot adjacent to PG Gas Station, will experience an interruption for the full scheduled time.
