Campaign Calendar
These are political events for the 2012 Election. To submit an event for consideration, send an email to gyandel@dailynews.vi. Only events intended to inform the voting public, such as debates or candidate forums, will be considered. Fundraisers and other events that serve only as promotional vehicles for candidates will not be used.
- Oct. 3 - The St. Thomas Democratic District will host a Fish Fry and Presidential Debate Watch from 4 to 10:30 p.m. in Emancipation Garden. The presidential debate will be shown on a big-screen TV from 9 to 10:30 p.m. Fried fish and steamed fish will be available for purchase.
- Oct. 7 - The St. Thomas Democratic District will host a "meet and greet" of the Democratic candidates for Senate from the St. Thomas-St. John District from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Crown Bay Gaming and Sport Lounge. The event will feature live music by Top Notch Band and DJ Shine and face-painting, a bounce house and a magic show for children.
