Power outage planned for part of St. Croix
The V.I. Water and Power Authority has scheduled a power interruption to a portion of Feeder No. 2 in Christiansted on St. Croix from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The affected areas will include: Hospital Street, Mahogany Welcome, Mt. Welcome and a section of Gallows Bay.
Working with the V.I. Public Works Department during the final phase of the Christiansted Bypass project, WAPA line crews will relocate three poles that are interfering with the installation of new traffic lights near the bypass construction site.
