Students to perform at Herbert Grigg Home

Students at Alexander Henderson Elementary School "Exploring Our Island" after-school program will visit residents of the Herbert Grigg Home for the Elderly at 10 a.m. on Saturday to spread a little Christmas cheer.

The students will sing popular Christmas carols to Grigg's residents before presenting them with some of the many items on the residents' "wish lists."

Community members interested in contributing board games, books, linen, personal hygiene items or clothing accessories, such as bibs, head ties and handkerchiefs can go to Henderson School to make the donation this week.

For more information about the students' visit or their after-school program, contact Renee Hansen at 773-1095 ext. 7057.
