Services will be held Saturday for Thomas A. James Sr., also known as Tom, who died Jan. 1, 2013, at the age of 87 at his residence.
The first viewing is from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday at Davis Funeral Home Chapel.
The second viewing is at 8 a.m. Saturday at Christchurch Methodist, with the service at 9 a.m. at the same location.
Burial will be at Eastern Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas A. James Jr., Ruel I. James Sr.; daughters, Patricia A. Springfield, Colleen S. James and Marian Behardesingh; grandchildren, Georgette Lewis, Jahbokie Lewis, Marcus James, Tomas James III, Ruel James Jr., Tashieka James and Iylah James; great-grandchild, Hailee Lewis; daughters-in-law, Joretha and Carol James; son-in-law, Christopher Springfield; and many other relatives and friends.
