ST. THOMAS - Police on St. Thomas are investigating three separate non-fatal shootings involving four victims that took place during the weekend.

On Saturday, two men, ages 26 and 37, were hanging out on a porch about 8:30 a.m. in Sugar Estate when a man wearing dark clothing with a bandana over his face began firing shots at them, the victims told police.

As they ran into the house, one victim was shot in his left foot and the other victim was shot in his right leg, they said.

On the same day, about 3:30 p.m., police were notified of another gunshot victim, 27, who told them he was driving on Bovoni Road when someone in another vehicle suddenly began firing at him. The victim drove into the Bovoni housing community to get help, he told police. The vehicle did not pursue him into the community, and the victim was grazed in his left shoulder and right arm, police said.

The victim said he was unable to give a description of the vehicle or the shooter.

Police also spoke with another shooting victim, who said he was shot near the Anna's Retreat basketball court on Friday.

The 32-year-old victim told police that he was in the area just before 4 p.m. and heard gunshots and saw a vehicle passing by. The victim was grazed in his stomach and taken to Schneider Hospital in a private vehicle.

The victim could not provide police any description of the vehicle or occupants.

All victims were treated for their injuries at Schneider Hospital.
