ST. THOMAS - More people than just the accused were sweating it out Wednesday in V.I. Superior Court.
The hallways and courtrooms of the three-story complex on Veterans Drive were stifling by mid-morning because of a broken air conditioner. The excessive heat forced the court to shut down at midday, according to St. Thomas-St. John Court Administrator Glendia Caines.
