Daily News Photo by FIONA STOKES Film crews operate in Christiansted on a project whose name was officially kept secret, but which was reported by social media, websites and blogs to be "The Bachelor."
ST. CROIX - Rumors swirled on Tuesday about a television production that prompted major traffic rerouting in downtown Christiansted, a mini-parade complete with masqueraders and mocko jumbies - and plenty of curiosity among passers-by.
Although the V.I. Tourism Department was more than willing to talk about what was going on in general terms and how it will benefit the island, mum was the official word when it came to disclosing the name of the show that was filming.
