ST. THOMAS - One V.I. senator's attempt to use the courts to obtain the transparency - and the money - he claims he is owed by the V.I. Legislature is at a crossroads.

Senator At-large Craig Barshinger filed a lawsuit in January 2011 - during the first weeks of the 29th Legislature - claiming that he had been denied almost $46,000 in reimbursements related to his job duties as a senator dating back to 2007.
