Blackett, Sprauve expected to change pleas in Williams trial

ST. THOMAS - Two defendants in the corruption case against former Sen. Alvin Williams Jr. are scheduled to appear in federal court Wednesday to enter a change of plea.
Garry Sprauve, who was Williams' senior adviser, and Kim Blackett, formerly Williams' chief of staff, are scheduled to appear at a change-of-plea hearing at 3 p.m. Wednesday before Chief District Judge Curtis Gomez, according to an online database of federal court records.
