Boy, 17, charged in shooting death of 17-year-old

ST. CROIX - One of two teenage boys shot during a botched robbery on the Frederiksted Pier on Tuesday night, has been charged with murder and related crimes in connection to the incident.

V.I. Police spokeswoman Melody Rames said Thursday night that the 17-year-old was charged with felony murder, first-degree robbery ad possession of an unlicensed firearm during the commission of a crime of violence stemming from the armed robbery reported to police just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
