CAHS and Good Hope graduates receive $60,000 WAPA scholarships

ST. CROIX - During a brief ceremony Thursday, Malcolm Edwards, a 2011 graduate of the Good Hope School, and J'Mel Henneman, the 2012 salutatorian of Charlotte Amalie High School, each received the Alva C. McFarlane $60,000 scholarship to pursue bachelor degrees in engineering.
The scholarships, awarded by the V.I. Water and Power Authority Board of Directors, will be used to cover expenses of tuition, room and board, fees, books and supplies.
