These are political events for the 2012 Election. To submit an event for consideration, send an email to gyandel@dailynews.vi. Only events intended to inform the voting public, such as debates or candidate forums, will be considered. Fundraisers and other events that serve only as promotional vehicles for candidates will not be used.
- The League of Women Voters is inviting senatorial candidates for the 30th Legislature to participate in its "Meet the Candidates Forum." Candidates interested in participating should contact the League of Women Voters as soon as possible at lwvusvi@gmail.com or send a fax to 777-5974.
- Sept. 5 - Virgin Islands United for Social Justice & Accountability will host a last lap Primary Roundtable at 5 p.m. Sept. 5 at Walker's By the Sea on St. Thomas. Candidates slated for the Sept. 8 primary election have been invited to participate to offer their solutions to issues and voter concerns.
