Endocrinologist Dr. Judy Barzey will give a lecture titled "The Prevention and Treatment of Diabetes" at 6 p.m. today in the Ruth E. Thomas auditorium at Charlotte Amalie High School.
The lecture will address the serious health concerns associated with the disease in the student population and the community at large.
The lecture is part of a series hosted by the school and named in honor of Charlotte Amalie alumnus Ambassador Terrence Todman.
A second lecture, about financial literacy and planning, is scheduled for April 10, and a third lecture, on energy efficiency and renewable energy, is scheduled for May 29.
