ST. CROIX - More than 60 residents turned out on Monday evening to offer their thoughts on how Christiansted should develop and move forward, as the first meeting of a charrette got under way.
The charrette, which will be meeting each evening through Thursday, is aimed at getting input over the course of four nights, so that architects and planners can develop a town plan for Christiansted.
A charrette is a quick, intense, collaborative method of creating a town plan by bringing in the public to help do the work.
