ST. CROIX - Within hours of his return from a Caribbean law enforcement convention, V.I. Police Commissioner Henry White Jr. learned that two of his police officers had been shot while on patrol on St. Thomas.
In his first statement issued after the shooting, White said he would form a gun squad to stem the tide of illegal guns and curb gun violence on the streets.
