Corrections' mistaken release of suspect wasn't first time

ST. THOMAS - Two men mistakenly released from V.I. prisons in the last two years remain at large today.

In fact, the V.I. Corrections Bureau's erroneous release of an inmate this summer closely mirrors a scenario that played out in February 2011, according to court records made available Friday.
