Deadlines near for Black Caucus Foundation scholarships

Deadlines are upcoming for Congressional Black Caucus Foundation scholarships, fellowships and internships available to Virgin Islands students.

The General Mills Health Scholarship is for students pursuing majors related to health. To apply, students must have a minimum of a 2.75 grade point average; be a full-time student seeking a degree at an accredited college or university and exhibit leadership ability; and plan to pursue a degree in the fields of medicine, engineering, technology, nutrition or other health-related studies. The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation also has internship and fellowship programs that prepare college students and young professionals to become principled leaders, skilled policy analysts and informed advocates by exposing them to the processes by which national policies are developed in the federal government.
