DeJongh tells St. Croix Chamber that energy is key to economy

ST. CROIX - Gov. John deJongh Jr. gave a state of the territory update to the St. Croix Chamber of Commerce at its annual meeting Thursday.

The governor spoke about the challenges the territory faces, as well as the progress that has been made during the last year.

DeJongh and Mark Eckard, president of the chamber, both spoke about the importance of bringing down the cost of energy in the territory to make a difference in residents' lives and to create a better business environment.
