Gonzalez proud to carry on a family tradition

ST. CROIX - Pedro Gonzalez works livestock on the same land where his father and grandfather did before him.
Gonzalez, Livestock Farmer of the Year for Agrifest 2013, has a 250-acre farm in estates Concordia and Wheel of Fortune.
"My grandfather had it, then my father had it, and I kind of grew into it," Gonzalez said.
On those acres, he raises pigs, goats and Senepol cattle for meat. He also has horses and donkeys.
