ST. THOMAS - Gov. John deJongh Jr. exercised his veto pen, line-item vetoing multiple unrelated amendments tacked onto a bill at August's Senate session.
The unrelated amendments were attached to a bill amending the Motorcycle Safety Education Act of 2009 by adjusting fees and changing the requirement for the V.I. Motor Vehicles Bureau to approve helmets and other safety gear sold for use while operating a motorcycle.
