Health Fair set for Lionel Roberts Stadium

The V.I. Human Services Department's Queen Louise Home for the Aged will host its fourth annual free public health fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 15 at Lionel Roberts Stadium on St. Thomas.

The "We Care Health Fair" will include health screenings for cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, HIV and dental health, as well as presentations on men and women's health and nutrition.

Speakers from the V.I. Territorial Emergency Management Agency, Health Department, V.I. Fire Service, Legal Services of the Virgin Islands and Human Services' Adult Protective Services unit will offer information about disaster preparedness, fire prevention, legal services and elder abuse.
