The text of the stipulated order issued Thursday by V.I. Superior Court Presiding Judge Darryl Donohue Sr.:

This matter is before the Court on the Stipulation of the Daily News Publishing Company, Inc. and the 29th Legislature of the Virgin Islands for an Order resolving the dispute concerning the interpretation of 3 V.I.C. Section 881(g)(13). The parties have discussed the matter with the Inspector General of the Virgin Islands and have confirmed that the Requests for Public Information dated December 14, 2011, February 6, 2012, and the two dated October 12, 2012 are not intended to include documents generated by the Office of the Inspector General. The Inspector General has confirmed that he has no objection to the release of any documents that are business or financial records of the Virgin Islands Legislature. On that basis, the concerns of the 29th Legislature regarding the disclosure of the documents have been resolved.
