ST. CROIX - A Senate committee on Thursday voted to indefinitely table a bill that would have addressed the Legislature's own procurement process, its employee bonuses and its legislative sessions.

The move, in the Committee on Rules and Judiciary, came after extensive discussion of the bill, which sponsor Sen. Louis Hill said he requested during the 28th Legislature, based on recommendations from the Inspector General and his staff who conducted an audit of the Senate that was released last year.
