The Lt. Governor's Office's Division of Real Property Tax will conduct a round of auctions in both districts for properties in delinquent payment status for 10 or more years.

On St. Croix, the auctions will take place from Nov. 14-16 at the Virgin Islands Cardiac Center at Luis Hospital.

In the St. Thomas-St. John District, the auctions will take place Nov. 20-21 in the courtyard of the GERS Building on Kronprindsens Gade on St. Thomas.

The property auctions will begin at 9 a.m. on each of the scheduled auction days.

In the event an auction does not conclude on the first day, it will continue on the second or third day.

Owners of delinquent properties can pay their balances in full or enter into an installment arrangement to avoid the sale of their properties. Property owners interested in making arrangements can contact the Office of the Tax Collector at 776-8505 on St. Thomas, 776-6737 on St. John, 773-1105 in Christiansted or 772-0120 in Frederiksted.
