ST. CROIX - At its meeting Thursday night, the Luis Hospital board met in executive session to discuss a staff reorganization for the hospital and approved a contract for a new vice president of ancillary services for the hospital.

The table of organization was listed on the agenda for action following the review and discussion. However, board member Imelda Dizon, who attended the meeting via telephone, said that she was a part of the discussion but had not seen a copy of the proposed organizational table and could not vote on it either way.

Board chairwoman Kye Walker said she believed Dr. Kendall Griffith, interim chief executive director of the hospital - who developed the table - also had some changes that he needs to make to organizational chart, so Walker tabled a vote on the new organizational structure until the board's next meeting.
