Luis Hospital plans weekend cleanup

ST. CROIX - Luis Hospital officials are asking the community to pitch in and help them spruce up the place this weekend.
"Actually, it's a weekend of service. We've done a call of action to the churches, businesses, the schools and community members to participate this Saturday and this Sunday in beautifying the hospital's physical plant," said Luis Hospital spokeswoman Xaulanda Simmonds-Emmanuel.
The cleanup will include tidying up the hospital grounds, planting new trees, doing some painting inside and some light maintenance work, she said.
