The contract for Luis Hospital's new chief financial officer sets his annual salary at $150,000 and entitles him to "incentive payments" of up to an additional $45,000 per year, subject to board approval - although officials say that clause will not be exercised at this point and there will be no bonuses.

The hospital is struggling financially, and chief executive Jeff Nelson says he has no intention of requesting an incentive payment for new CFO Deepak Bansal - nor, Nelson said, would the hospital board approve it.
