ST. THOMAS - Sen. Shawn-Michael Malone has written a letter to Gov. John deJongh Jr. asking for the immediate resignation of V.I. Next Generation Network board member Peter Schultz.
Last week, the V.I. Next Generation Network board awarded board member Peter Schultz a $50,000 contract to provide technical services to the publicly financed company. Schultz is the co-inventor of fiber-optics, which is the infrastructure of the broadband network under construction in the territory.
