Man gets lost while looking for lost dog

ST. THOMAS - Emergency responders from St. Thomas Rescue and the V.I. Police Department helped locate a St. Thomas man who went missing in Fortuna on Monday afternoon while searching for his dog.

The rescue effort was launched about 2 p.m. Monday after the V.I. Territorial Emergency Management Agency dispatched St. Thomas Rescue workers to assist in the Police Department's search, according to St. Thomas Rescue spokesman Dalis Walwyn.

The missing 51-year-old man was looking for his dog along an embankment when he lost his way.
