Man shot while in his Estate Contant home

ST. THOMAS - Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives on St. Thomas are investigating a non-fatal shooting that happened early Friday morning in Estate Contant, in which a 19-year-old man was shot in his legs.
The victim drove himself to Schneider Hospital, and officers were sent to meet him there, police said.
The victim told police that he got home about 3 a.m. on Friday and was resting in a chair when he heard several shots and felt pain in his leg.
He said he saw a person firing shots at him from outside his home but could not give any description of the person or any additional information, according to police.
The victim was treated for a single gunshot wound that injured his left and right thighs.
