A judge on Monday ordered Rodney Miller Sr. to surrender his travel documents and remain in the territory for now, but stopped short of revoking Miller's pre-trial release altogether.

V.I. Superior Court Judge Michael Dunston said that he already had signed an order, which had been under seal, granting a prosecution motion to revoke Miller's release and take him into custody pending trial.

However, the judge changed his mind at the hearing - during which Miller pleaded emotionally, finally breaking down into tears - and decided instead to allow Miller to remain free, but under more strict conditions.
