ST. THOMAS - The Senate approved a zoning change and ratified a Coastal Zone Management permit at its Wednesday session.
Movie theater
The zoning use-variance approved will allow developers to turn a dilapidated office building in Havensight into a one-screen movie theater for tourists.
According to the developer, the theater would show historical or cultural films about the Virgin Islands, mostly during the day. The theater would cater to cruise ship passengers and hotel guests.
