ST. THOMAS - The 30th Legislature's Committee of the Whole met for the first time Monday to hear testimony for seven zoning applications, including a proposal for an eco-resort in Coral Bay, St. John.
Hugo Roller, owner of Coral Bay Garden Center nursery and farm on St. John, told the legislators that he would like to have his land rezoned to open a tourist attraction where visitors could enjoy farm-to-table food and stay in treehouse pods.
