Physicians' representative resigns from Luis board

ST. CROIX - Dr. Gemaine Owen has resigned her seat on the Luis Hospital board.
Owen resigned the position last month, in the days after a Senate committee meeting in which a letter from her attorney - which suggested she had been targeted for removal by the board chairwoman after Owen raised questions about the way the hospital was spending money - was read into the record.
