Play about V.I. taxi drivers to make New York debut

ST. THOMAS - For playwright Eddie Donoghue, the announcement of next year's New York production of his play "Half Married" represents just another bright spot in what has been a shining career.
As part of a celebration of Black History Month, New York-based Caribbean American Repertory Theatre will feature readings of the farcical comedy "Half Married" in Brooklyn, N.Y., this month. By next year, the play should be ready to make its New York debut.
Donoghue, 76, described the play as a comedy that centers on issues of fidelity and religion.
