Police arrest man in connection with Red Hook assault

ST. THOMAS - V.I. Police arrested Jabari Hodge on Wednesday after he was identified as the person who assaulted a 24-year-old man in the Red Hook area last summer.

Police arrested Hodge, 23, about 2:45 p.m. based on an arrest warrant in connection with an incident on Aug. 3, according to V.I. Police spokeswoman Melody Rames.

Hodge faces charges of first- and third-degree assault, using a dangerous weapon during a crime of violence and aiding and abetting.

Hodge's bail was set at $75,000, and he was remanded to the V.I. Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
