Police investigating non-fatal drive-by in Hidden Valley area

ST. THOMAS - Detectives are following leads in a non-fatal drive-by shooting that occurred just after midnight Friday morning.

Police say a 32-year-old man reported he was walking home in the Hidden Valley area when a black vehicle with at least three occupants drove up behind him. The victim told police he heard at least four gunshots before he began to run, felt a burning sensation in his left foot and realized he was shot.

The victim was taken to Schneider Hospital, where he was treated and released.
