Red Cross recruiting volunteers on St. John

The Virgin Islands Chapter of the American Red Cross will be in St. John to recruit volunteers on the island.

People interested in becoming volunteers and helping their neighbors in times of need, can participate of the two-day meeting, which will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Bethany Moravian Church.

This two-day meeting will provide an orientation of the Red Cross' services provided in the community and its role in disaster relief. To register or for more information, call 774-0375 or 778-5104.
