A team of enforcement officers from the Department of Planning and Natural Resources took to the seas southwest and west of St. Thomas Monday afternoon in their search for the missing pilot of a plane that crashed into the sea on Oct. 13.

A Government House statement released Monday noted that the officers began "a series of periodic inspections of the shorelines of various cays around St. Thomas. The mission is aimed at determining whether the body of missing pilot Kirby Hodge was taken out to sea following the October 13 crash of the Aztec Piper he was piloting."
