ST. THOMAS - An altercation that sparked gunfire last weekend on the University of the Virgin Islands St. Thomas campus remains under investigation by campus security and the V.I. Police Department.
UVI spokeswoman Nanyamka Farrelly said the incident is believed to have stemmed from a party in the dining pavilion on campus. After the party, about 3:25 a.m. Saturday, at least one shot was fired in the vicinity of the North Residence Hall. No one was injured.
