St. Croix man says he was carjacked Sunday by 2 men with guns

ST. CROIX - Police are investigating a Sunday morning carjacking that was reported at Ann Schrader Command.

The first-degree robbery was reported to police at 9:26 a.m.

V.I. Police Department spokeswoman Melody Rames said that a man walked into the police station and reported he was carjacked by two men carrying guns in the Cane Bay area.

The man reported that the robbers - who took his silver Toyota Corolla - were dressed all in black, Rames said. The man was not injured in the robbery, according to Rames.

Rames said the vehicle was found burning on West Scenic Road on Sunday night.
