ST. THOMAS - In a forum to address crime and public safety Wednesday evening, Downtown Revitalization, Inc. juxtaposed the top brass from local and federal law enforcement agencies with a grass-roots "solutions committee."
The panel of public safety officials described each of their respective agency's roles in curbing street crime in the Virgin Islands but offered few actionable suggestions for improving the infrastructure of downtown or changing policy at the level of local government.
