Teen reports sexual assault by man 3 times her age

ST. CROIX - Police are investigating an incident of unlawful sexual contact that was reported early Thursday morning.
V.I. Police spokeswoman Melody Rames released preliminary information Thursday that a 14-year-old girl reported that she had been sexually assaulted by a 42-year-old man.
According to the emergency blotter, which lists all calls to 911 dispatchers, the incident was reported at 1:02 a.m. Thursday from Golden Rock.
Rames said the incident is under investigation by police detectives.
As of Thursday afternoon, no arrest had been made.
