Tourism commissioner skips show for Denmark

ST. THOMAS - One key member of the Virgin Islands delegation was missing from the annual cruise ship conference last week - Tourism Commissioner Beverly Nicholson-Doty.
Instead, she traveled to Denmark with Gov. John deJongh Jr. and others to meet with Danish officials and promote the territory.
Deputy Commissioner Chantal Figueroa represented the territory at Cruise Shipping Miami, formerly known as SeaTrade.
