ST. CROIX - The jurors selected to hear the V.I. Superior Court triple murder and animal cruelty case against Ivan Petric Jr. will hear opening statements and receive their preliminary instructions today.
V.I. Superior Court Presiding Judge Darryl Donohoue spent the day Monday with attorneys on both sides of the case, making selections from a pool of more than 50 jurors to select the final 12 and alternates who will listen to the case in which Petric is charged with three counts of murder and related charges in the November 2006 incident.
