ST. CROIX - The V.I. Police Department arrested one of its own Wednesday night on myriad charges that has him facing the possibility of more than 30 years in prison.
Police Officer Anderson Poleon was arrested and charged with extortion, embezzlement by a public or private officer, embezzlement by clerk or employee, destruction of evidence and interfering with property in custody of an officer.
