Louisa Ann Turnbull
Services will be Friday for Louisa Ann Turnbull.
The first viewing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Turnbull's Funeral Home. The second viewing will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Christ Church Methodist, with services following at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Western Cemetery.
Turnbull was born on June 19, 1914, on Anguilla to the late Ann Rebecca Fleming and Mark Richardson.
She later emigrated from Anguilla to St. Thomas in 1949, where she worked at several hotels. In 1951, she met Wallace Turnbull, and three years later in 1954, they were united in marriage.
Sister Louisa Turnbull, stepmother, aunt, cousin and friend, entered into eternal rest on Jan. 15, 2012, following a long-term battle with arthritis. May our memories of her love bring comfort and peace of heart, now and through the days ahead.
She is survived by her three stepsons, Hugo, Alvin and Keith Turnbull; brother-in-law, Horace Turnbull; sisters-in-law, Bernadine Richardson-Boland and Helen Patrick; grandchildren, Erica, Jessica, Amber and Wallace Turnbull; nieces, Darlene Paul, Dilles Roberts, Wendy and Rose-Ann Richardson; nephews, Uriel (Tully), George (Giles), Randy and Daren (Leslie) Richardson; nephew-in-law, Curt Paul; niece-in-law, Omayra Richardson; seven great-nieces and 10 great-nephews; cousins, Gwendolyn Griffin, Leah Philip, Violet Richardson, Bernadine Hughes, Herbert Hughes, Jeffery, Steve, Eddy, Glorie, Marsha and Grace Hughes, Gerda Morales, Trina Philip, Andy and Al Griffin, the Rev. Irad Hodge, the Rev. Zanier Hodge, the Rev. Vincent Hodge, the Rev. Valentine Hodge, Reginald Hodge, Carmen Huggins, Elvise Hickson, Joycelyn Caines, Ruth Lake, Lionel, Bob, and Aubrey Rogers, Sellia Jackson, Jimmy Carty and many other relatives and friends.
